Recently, local and national headlines have announced several reported cases of rat lungworm disease (RLWD) which occurred over the last few months in Hawai’i. Luckily, no deaths have been reported. RLWD is a parasite officially known to affect the brain and spinal cord. AWARENESS is key to prevention, and it is important for you to know how to prevent RLWD!
