Hawaii Island REALTORS® was chartered in 1967 with a vision of helping REALTORS® better serve property owners. The Hawaii Island REALTORS® is governed by an elected Board of Directors consisting of the President, President Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Past President and seven Directors, all of whom are active REALTORS® AND REALTOR® Sales Agents.

There are six local Boards within the State of Hawaii and 1,700 Boards of REALTORS® in the Country. The National Association of REALTORS® currently has 1,260,000 members. It is the largest professional trade organization in the United States.

Each member of the Hawaii Island REALTORS® is held to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics that prescribes duties and responsibilities to Clients, the Public and other REALTORS®. It is the cornerstone of the REALTORS® profession and is what sets us apart from other real estate practitioners.
