HIR Addresses Coronavirus

Hawai’i Island REALTORS^® will be suspending all in-person meetings, classes and events scheduled through Friday, April 3rd in an effort to promote social distancing and reduce the impact of potential “community spread” on our island.

WHAT WE WILL DO INSTEAD:

We will continue support our members via phone and email, Monday thru Friday 9am to 4pm. This week staff ask that you call ahead of visits. In the coming weeks staff will shift to working remotely. In-person service will be by appointment only and based on urgency.
We will conduct the Board of Directors and Committee meetings via online format.
We will offer a weekly Virtual Caravan. Our first attempt at this will be this Wednesday, more information to follow.
We are looking at ways to provide Continuing Education and Professional Development resources to our members online.
We will be creative in the ways that we reach out and connect with you. We know that we need each other in times of uncertainty.

Thank you for your consideration of these temporary changes to our normal business practices.
